We came in around 8:30 PM on a Friday after a long drive from Portland, just looking for good food that was still open! When we walked in, a server let us know that the buffet table closes at 8:45 and meat service will stop around 9 pm so that everyone would be out by 10 pm. We decided we were hungry enough that we could eat quickly. So I had the sukiyaki broth and my partner had the spicy miso, then were sat in some comfy booths. We loaded up with so many different types of tofu, vegetables, and noodles at the buffet bar. He got us our meat pretty quickly. He was also so kind and helped us grab more vegetables after they'd closed the bar. As well as a second set of beef, though we were full after the first set! The sukiyaki broth is incredible, you MUST get it! I loved the service and the food! At the end, they even gave us ice cream!
Parking can be tough on a busy weekend! Came here for my hubby's birthday and ordered the premium course. Even though they were busy they were super quick and helpful.
Shaburina in Redmond, WA, offers a delightful shabu-shabu experience that stands out for its freshness and variety. Having dined there twice--once for lunch and once for dinner--I've had the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy their House Course, which includes a choice of broth, Beef Chuck, Shortplate, Pork Belly, Pork Shoulder, and access to an extensive buffet and sauce bar. The food quality is exceptional, with all ingredients being remarkably fresh. The meats are served super thinly sliced, making them perfect for quick cooking at the table. I found myself completely stuffed after both visits, which speaks to the generous portions and the all-you-can-eat nature of the experience. Service at Shaburina can vary from good to great. During my visits, the staff was attentive, though there were moments where the service felt a bit inconsistent. However, they were generally friendly and quick to refill our meat orders. The buffet bar is a highlight, offering a wide range of choices beyond just meat. It features an impressive selection of vegetables and greens, along with seafood options like shrimp, octopus, and clams, which were particularly amazing. There were also several types of noodles available, and the buffet was consistently well-stocked, ensuring that diners have plenty of options to customize their meals. When it comes to broth, Shaburina provides a variety ranging from a simple water base to a spicy option. I typically opt for the Kombu or Sukiyaki broth, which strikes a nice balance in flavor. The sauce bar is extensive, although I did wish for some guidance on good sauce combinations to enhance the meal. One standout recommendation is the chrysanthemum leaves, which add a fantastic flavor to the dish. And don't forget to indulge in the free ice cream at the end of your meal--though I found myself too full to enjoy it on both occasions! Overall, Shaburina offers a fresh and delicious dining experience that is both interactive and customizable. Cooking at your table allows for a unique culinary adventure, making it a fun outing for anyone who enjoys hot pot.
I was craving hot pot while visiting a training session at Microsoft and found this gem not too far from Element. This place didn't disappoint! The Original Kombu broth is freaking delicious. Each sip is full of flavor. As far as the meat, you pick either the Premium or House Course. Not a huge selection since they are a set. The House Course I order came with 2 different beef and 2 different pork. All thinly sliced and fast to cook. Then you have access to the entire bar are with great looking greens and a good selection of hot pot ready seafood. They also have a small sauce bar. Overall, great place to have hot pot. Place is clean and modern with a high-top table if you're eating for one. lol. The staff is very friendly and always on point if you need more meat.
We came here for dinner not knowing that it was all you can eat shabu. They had 3 different levels you could get. The whole table does have to do the same level (except for if there are diatery restrictions). Everyone is able to get their own soup flavor. I got the spicy miso. It was super flavorful and had a little kick. I really enjoyed the buffet as they had a lot of variety to put in your shabu. The meats were good quality. It was a little expensive but for all you can eat it was well worth it. They also give you soft-serve at the end of the meal!
One of my favorite shabu shabu places! Love that everything is all you can eat and the complimentary soft serve at the end is the best part! There's so many options at the self serve buffet bar. I could honestly get full just from eating off of the buffet bar. Decided to come here on my birthday since they give a free wagyu meat cake and it was definitely worth it. The quality of the meat was great and the servers were very friendly. Original broth is the best in my opinion and sukiyaki broth is a little too sweet for my liking. Make sure to come hungry!
I still love this place. We were here for dinner which was priced at $39 for the basic one. We were there around 8pm and they did mention they'll have their last call on the bar. But they were also nice enough to tell us if there are anything we would want from the bar even if it was already close because we were there late. I love their hospitality and going above and beyond for that. They were always asking if we needed anything or extra meat. The staff is definitely well trained and love that about them. They even set aside ice cream cones for us despite having the bar close. They have a parking garage also street parking is free. The AYCE price is also good not too expensive. We would definitely come back here on my birthday so we can get cake meat! We also did a Yelp reservation/ waitlist ahead of time so by the time we were here our table was ready.
Went to Shaburina for the first time tonight and loved it! It was a busy night and we ended up waiting almost an hour to be seated. If you can get your name on early or get a reservation, do it! I didn't mind the way because you could see how busy they were, we were also a party of 5 which is harder to seat for hot pot. The food was amazing. There was good variety and the buffet was well stocked. It took almost no time for us to get our meat order and the food just kept coming. We definitely got our fills worth of meat and veggies. The noodles were some of the best. They were so tender and chewy, loved it! I can't wait to go back again.
